We did it!!!!

I only have a second, and am typing on an iPod, so briefly...

OMG!!!! We flew thru immigration in record time (less than 24 hours) and got the passport, walked to the us embassy and finished our paperwork, then took a hot cab (100 degrees outside) to Ethiopian airlines to buy the baby's ticket. We leave Saturday afternoon for addis and hit the embassy Monday!

Woohoo!!!!

Yes, chills over here as well.
I've been listening to Long Journey Home (the CD Jaya made), a lot. Let's hope this is a short journey home for you. Bravo. Well done. Good on you.

Ahh, the light at the end of the tunnel!? Amazing to think of your family embarking on the final leg of your journey as a foursome. May you be received with expeditious grace and blessings, and then sent safely home to the enveloping green hills of Vermont!

Amazing and wonderful!!! We can't wait to see you all. Nola is eager too. She has sooo much energy!! We invited her over here yesterday and she literally raced around the house, jumping over stones and plants, and almost Dusty too! Yikes! May the road ahead continue to smooth out guiding you and welcoming you all home, sweet home.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Jaya, Scott, Ariah, Paci... All my love, thoughts, and prayers. When I see you next, I'll exhale.

I planted the greens for you yesterday in anticipation of your return. We have been going over to your house in the evenings after dinner and letting Nola out into the yard . We pick and eat your delicious sugar snap peas. We will save some when we know your return date. I weed in the garden and Graham and Eva play on the trampoline. We have had some sun the past two days. yippee! We hope the sailing stays smooth the rest of your journey. Love, Diane

Happy day, little family.
Your Grammie Mary (great grammie to you Paci) is so happy. I can feel it. SHE would say-'cute as a button' and 'isn't he precious?'. I am filled up full, and ever so sure that 'Love IS all around'.
Happy day. Travel safely. We love you very very much.

Jaya, I didn't know you made a CD. I'd love to know how I can get a copy of it once you are all settled.

I am so happy for you all, and grateful that you included me in the news process. God bless you guys as you raise this new little one--I know he will give you grace for each and every moment as he already has.

Peace of Christ to you all.
